Dr. Courtney Rebensdorf

Dr. Rebensdorf took over ownership of Cranston Animal Hospital in 2014, and she is also owns Oaklawn Animal Hospital in Cranston. She was raised in Nebraska (Go Cornhuskers!), and received her B.S. degree in Life Sciences from the University of Nebraska in 1980. She then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 1984. “Dr. Courtney” is past president of both the Southwest Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association (RIVMA). Rhode Island Governor, Gina Raimondo appointed Dr. Rebensdorf to serve on the board of Veterinary Medicine in Rhode Island. She is also a past board member of Volunteer Services for Animals. She served as Vice President of the RIVMA Companion Animal Foundation, of which she was a founding member. Dr. Rebensdorf is particularly proud of her work with the RIVMA Companion Animal Foundation, which raises funds to help low-income individuals and families afford veterinary care for their beloved pets. She also served as the Delegate from Rhode Island to the American Veterinary Medical Association. She shares her life with her husband Bob, and four cats named Wilber, Whitey, Pinky, and Frankie.

Dr. Victoria Klibanoff

Dr. Victoria Klibanoff grew up in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. She graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in English Literature, then worked as a veterinary technician in Newport, Rhode Island prior to attending veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. After braving some extreme weather, Dr. Klibanoff moved home after graduation and has been working in small animal practices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is happy to make Cranston Animal Hospital her new work home. Dr. Klibanoff enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in preventative medicine, dermatology, dentistry, pain management, behavior, and alternative medicine. She and her husband share their home with Mabel, a Jack Russell Terrier, and Kolby, a Pointer Mix. When not at work, Dr. Klibanoff enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, trying new restaurants, writing poetry, house renovation projects, and being outdoors. Dr. Klibanoff is excited to meet you and your fur baby!
